Cron job and AI agent monitoring

CronEcho

Monitoring for cron jobs and AI agents

CronEcho monitors cron jobs, background workflows and AI agents. It alerts you when a job misses its check-in or an agent breaks a budget or timeout, and escalates until someone acknowledges.

What CronEcho does

Dead man’s switch for cron

Each job pings a unique URL when it finishes. If the ping is late, CronEcho alerts you.

AI agent runs

Agents report start, progress, cost and completion. CronEcho flags failures, stalled steps and runaway spend.

Budget caps and timeouts

Set a maximum spend per run, a step timeout and a run timeout for each agent.

Alerts that escalate

Email, SMS, voice, Slack, Telegram, Discord, webhooks, PagerDuty or OpsGenie, with multi-step escalation and on-call rotation.

Frequently asked questions

What does CronEcho monitor?

Cron jobs and scheduled tasks, long-running workflows, and AI agent runs, all in one monitor list.

How do I monitor a cron job with CronEcho?

Add one line to the end of the job that requests its CronEcho ping URL. If the ping does not arrive within the expected interval plus a grace period, CronEcho alerts you.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. CronEcho has a free plan; paid plans add more monitors, channels and team features.
